Terms and Conditions

At Home Appétit, our mission is to  help families save time and money while making it easier for them to share healthy, home-cooked meals at their table.

We ask that you abide by the terms and conditions that follow. Please read them carefully, because your use of our website and our store constitutes your agreement with these terms.

Customer Terms

1. I will promptly freeze my Home Appétit entrées following the conclusion of my prep session.
2. I assume full responsibility for the transportation and proper storage of all my Home Appétit Entrées.
3. I will follow the cooking instructions specified on each of my Home Appétit meals.
4. I agree to release Home Appétit from all claims, damages and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of my preparation, storage and consumption of Home Appétit meals, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Home Appétit. 
5. I agree not to attend a Home Appétit session if I have been exposed to any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc. 
6. I agree not to bring my children to Home Appétit sessions even if they beg to come! This is my time to have fun! 
7. I will keep all dinners below 40° F while in storage, and I will heat all dinners to an internal temperature above 165° F when ready to eat.
8. I realize that Home Appétit meals are for non-commercial use and are not for resale.
9. I understand that my entrées will retain their best taste and quality if eaten within 60 days of freezing.

Payment Policy
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover when you order online through our website or on the phone. We also accept cash, check or credit card payments at our store location.

Cancellation Policy
We definitely understand busy schedules and unforeseen emergencies. However,  Home Appétit prides itself in procuring fresh ingredients prior to your arrival. We would appreciate as much notice as possible.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule your session time, we  do require a minimum 7 days notice.  If you need to cancel or reschedule your session time, less than 7 days notice, please email us at info@homeappetitkitchen.com or call us at (704) 979-5566. 

IMPORTANT: If you fail to make prior arrangements or do not show for a session, we will prepare and freeze your meals for you. Your credit card will be charged an additional $25 service fee on top of the food cost for the assembly.

Refund Policy
Since all meals have been tested, we would ask that you closely follow our cooking instructions. But if there is a meal your family didn't like, we will happily refund the cost of that meal. We just ask that you write us a comment as to why you didn't care for it.

Nutritional Information
The nutritional information listed on our website is provided to give you as much information as possible regarding the content of our recipes. While we have been careful in compiling the nutritional information, this information is approximate and may vary based on customer's cooking methods as well as preparation methods. For example, the nutritional information is based on the exact measurements of the recipes, but our clients can customize those measurements to their needs.

Because our nutritional information has not been calculated by a Registered Dietitian, the nutritional information is not intended for medical nutrition therapy. If you are following a strict diet for medical or dietary reasons, it is important that you consult your physician or Registered Dietitian and remain under appropriate medical supervision while using the nutritional information contained in our website.

Third-Party Links
In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, Home Appétit may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with Home Appétit, Home Appétit has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Home Appétit. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, Home Appétit seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).

Menu Item Availability
Home Appétit offers only recipes that are tested and proven to be family friendly and healthy.  Different menu items will be offered every month.  We cannot guarantee that menu items you saw on a previous visit to Home Appétit will still be present on our website when you visit again. All menu items are not available all the time. Home Appétit reserves the right to schedule the rotation and repeat of specific menu items in our monthly schedule. User Comments
Any comments, suggestions, ideas, materials and other submissions that you send to Home Appétit are provided on a non-confidential basis. By submitting such Comments, you are granting Home Appétit an irrevocable and unrestricted license for any purpose whatsoever, including use, reproduction, publication, broadcast, posting, modification, transmission, display and distribution. However, because we value the trust that you have placed in us, we will not use any of your personal information (name, etc.) in connection with your Comments without your consent.

Pricing
Prices are quoted in U. S. currency and are valid and effective only in the United States. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

Information Accuracy
Home Appétit will use reasonable efforts to include accurate and current information on homeappetitkitchen.com, but Home Appétit makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy of such information.

Disclaimer
This website and its contents are provided "as is." Home Appétit disclaims, to the fullest extent of the law, all warranties and conditions express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of title, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with your use of our website. Home Appétit nor any party involved in creating, producing or delivering this website or any aspect thereof shall be liable for any direct, special, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, arising out of your access, use or inability to use this website, or errors or omissions in the content thereof, even if Home Appétit has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively by an appropriate federal or state court sitting in the State of North Carolina.

Termination
Home Appétit may terminate this Agreement and deny you access to homeappétitkitchen.com at any time, immediately and without notice, if in Home Appétit’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement.

Typographical Errors
In the event that a Home Appétit product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Home Appétit reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.  Home Appétit reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Home Appétit shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Home Appétit, its officers, shareholders directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers (collectively the "Service Providers" ) from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account.
